Creative, Wellness and Movement Day Retreat

Come away with us to the countryside to meditate, journal, create outside the lines and release your inhibitions.

What can you Expect?

Emerge into the day with guided journaling, a morning stretch and a somatic movement workshop. Enjoy a refreshing and nourishing two-course lunch made with locally sourced and organic produce. Take a moment to enjoy the unspoilt nature and get lost in the 42 acres of surrounding woodlands. The afternoon will start with a workshop to explore your creative expression and play. Start to wind down the day by settling into your body with a restorative yoga class. Enjoy a moment of stillness as you’re soothed in a sound bath snuggled up with blankets and cushions. The day will draw to an end with a closing circle for final journal reflection and meditation. 

All activities are optional and subject to change, you are welcome to dip in and out of activities as you wish. Whether you need community or solitude you can find both at Oriri.

Who Is This Day For? ​

Anyone and everyone who wishes to take a moment to reset, explore, play or rest.  Oriri Retreats creates a space for you so you can work with your mind, body and imagination to rest, rejuvenate and rediscover the joy of your creative self through nature, art and movement.
This retreat is suitable for anyone 18 years or older.

The Venue

Join us at Hawkwood, the stunning Grade II listed property nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by 42 acres of sustainably managed woodland, farmlands and gardens.  This 19th century country house is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Escape away with us to rejuvenate within the tranquil surroundings of nature and history of Hawkwood.

What's included in your ticket?

lunch and refreshments

Unlimited tea & coffee throughout the day. Fresh and delicious two-course lunch prepared from seasonal, locally sourced organic produce. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

Mindful Nature Walk

Enjoy being guided with some mindful and somatic movement in the unspoilt nature of 42 acres of surrounding woodlands.

Journaling and Meditation

Exercises to help you improve mental health, encourage self-confidence and inspire creativity.

Creative Workshop

Enjoy a creative mindfulness workshop, cultivating a space for expression and play and focusing on the therapeutic process of creativity itself.

Movement and Yoga

Slow flow yoga session - restorative yoga session to begin your wind down and stretch your muscles.

Sound Bath

Time to relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of traditional wind and percussion instruments.

What To Bring

We’ve put together a nifty ‘bring list’ for you. You can find this on our FAQ page. Please let us know if you do not have a yoga mat and we can provide one for you. We recommend wearing something comfortable to move and stretch in. If you wish to bring your own notebook for journaling, please do so, otherwise we will provide paper for any reflections.
