Creative, Wellness and Movement Day Retreat

Come away with us to the countryside to meditate, journal, create outside the lines and release your inhibitions.

What can you Expect?

Emerge into the day with guided journaling, a morning stretch and a somatic movement workshop followed by an art workshop to explore your creative expression and play.

Settle into your body with a restorative yoga class and enjoy a moment of stillness as you’re soothed in a sound bath snuggled up with blankets and cushions.

The day will draw to an end with a closing circle for final journal reflection and meditation. There is a garden if you wish to enjoy a stroll or savour a cup of tea outside.

All activities are optional and you are welcome to dip in and out of activities as you wish. Whether you need community or solitude you can find both at Oriri.


Who Is This Day For? ​

Anyone and everyone who wishes to take a moment to reset. Oriri Retreats creates a space for you so you can work with your mind, body and imagination to rest, rejuvenate and rediscover the joy of your creative self through art and movement. This retreat is suitable for anyone 18 years or older.

The Venue

Join us at Kingshill House in Dursley, Gloucester. Nestled in a quaint old market town in the Cotswolds, the creative centre is a vibrant community-based charity set in a Grade ||* listed Georgian Mansion with a mission to curate an interesting, educational, fun and diverse programme for the community that is focused on creativity, health and well-being.

What’s included in your ticket?


Tea, coffee, juice and baked treats provided throughout the day.


Catered by local cafe Belle’s Kitchen. There will be a platter selection and a buddha bowl full of deliciousness. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

Art Workshop

Enjoy creating your own unique abstract pieces in this fun and therapeutic painting process.


Exercises to help you improve mental health, encourage self-confidence and inspire creativity.

Slow flow yoga session

Restorative yoga session to begin your wind down and stretch your muscles.

Sound Bath

Time to relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of traditional wind and percussion instruments.


Moments of meditation throughout the day to help you calm your mind and body.

Somatic movement

Learn to flow with your body’s movements to shift and shake your inhibitions away.

Please let us know if you do not have a yoga mat and we can provide one for you.

We recommend wearing something comfortable to move and stretch in. Please also bring clothing you are happy to get a bit of paint on! 

If you wish to bring your own notebook for journaling, please do so, otherwise we will provide paper for any reflections.
